We are seeking an experienced IV Pharmacy Technician to join our growing pharmacy team. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional who is passionate about patient care and committed to maintaining the highest standards of sterile compounding and medication safety.
The ideal candidate has at least 2 years of sterile IV compounding experience in a hospital, home infusion, or specialty pharmacy setting and is confident working independently in a USP <797> compliant cleanroom environment.
Responsibilities
- Prepare sterile IV medications and compounded admixtures in accordance with USP <797> standards and company policies.
- Perform aseptic compounding techniques while maintaining a clean and compliant sterile environment.
- Accurately prepare, label, and package medications for patient use.
- Maintain proper documentation for compounding, quality assurance, and inventory.
- Monitor and maintain cleanroom supplies and equipment.
- Collaborate with pharmacists and other healthcare professionals to ensure safe, accurate, and timely medication preparation.
- Follow all state, federal, and company regulations regarding sterile compounding and pharmacy operations.
- Assist with inventory management and stock rotation as needed.
Qualifications
Required:
- Current Pharmacy Technician Certification (CPhT or equivalent)
- Active Colorado Pharmacy Technician License
- Minimum of 2 years of sterile IV compounding experience in a hospital, home infusion, or specialty pharmacy
- Experience working in a USP <797> compliant cleanroom
- Strong knowledge of aseptic technique and sterile compounding practices
- Ability to work independently while maintaining exceptional attention to detail
- Excellent organizational and communication skills

Pay: $25.25 - $27.50 per hour
