We're seeking a valued team member with skills and abilities to install, program, diagnose, and troubleshoot electronics for audio, video, networks, and surveillance. For over a decade, Northern and Northeast Ohio has depended on EQ Technologies for audio, video, HiFi, smart home, home theater, surveillance, network, WiFi, and more. Sales, installation, and design solutions for residential, and commercial.
General wiring and installation duties include:
- Surround sound systems, HiFi electronics, speakers, and multi-room audio.
- Home theater, projection, HDTVs, mounting, multi-room video, and video conference.
- Smart light switches / doorbells / door locks, and smart automation controllers.
- IP cameras, CCTV cameras, surveillance technologies, sensors, notification tools.
- Networks, WiFi, racking electronics.
Preferred candidates will have more of the following skills:
- More than 1 year experience working as an Audio Video integrator.
- Experience integrating smart homes, home theaters, and their wiring.
- Experience integrating WiFi, networks, surveillance, and their wiring.
- Programming experience with control systems, and IoT.
- Technical experience: wire strippers, crimpers, compression tools, wire poles.
- Familiarity with integrating systems such as Control4, Lutron, Savant.
- Experience in testing system components to assure system functionality.
- Follow and maintain proper safety practices.
- The ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Comprehension of construction prints, user guides, and specification sheets.
- Technical capability, professionalism, punctuality, self-motivation, self-discipline.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills to clients and team members.
- Ability to maintain the required attributes while under pressure from deadlines.
- Adaptability of working in residential and commercial environments.
- Experience with high end electronics and speakers.
Requirements:
- Maintain a valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
- Local travel.
- High school degree or equivalent (higher education preferred).

- $35,000 - $58,000 per year (based on experience, certificates, and additional considerations).
