Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and motivated person to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for executing a wide range of construction tasks, including metal building erection, framing, and basic carpentry. Your expertise will help ensure the successful completion of projects by managing on-site operations, coordinating with team members, and adhering to safety standards. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to diverse construction projects while honing your skills in various trades and construction management.
Responsibilities
- Lead and assist in metal building erection, ensuring structural integrity and safety compliance.
- Operate hand tools, power tools, heavy equipment, and scaffolding safely and efficiently.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction plans to guide project execution.
- Collaborate with project managers and team members to coordinate remodeling, restoration, roofing, framing, and carpentry activities.
Requirements
- experience in metal building erection, framing and carpentry, or related construction fields.
- Strong knowledge of construction management principles and site safety procedures.
- framing carpentry, siding, roofing, plastering, and trim carpentry.
- Ability to operate heavy machinery and power tools safely on active construction sites.
- blueprint reading skills along with the ability to interpret schematics for various trades.
- Physical stamina for heavy lifting, working at heights, and performing manual labor throughout the workday.
