JOB REQUIREMENTS

High School diplomoa or equivalent; 60 more college credits
- Experience working with children
- Two years experience working with disabled children in a school setting
- Abilty to demonstrate basic tech skills on computers, tablets and laptops
- Ablilty to demonstrate proficiency in mathematics and abilty to communicate fluently in English, verbally and in writing
- Abilty to work successfully with students with various disabilities
- Abilty to physically perform job duties, such as lifting student(s), toileting, removal of student(s) to all activities and participating with student(s) in those activities
- Abilty to lift or move over 40 pounds
- Abilty to maintain the confidentiality of student information
- Willingness to fulfill the specific performance responsibilities of the position as they relate to individual student needs
- Abilty to define problems, analyze data, in collaboration with the classroom teacher and the behavior specialists
- Willing to be trained in CPR and Crisis Prevention
- Computer proficiency
- Experience with school age students
- Training in student behaviors, instructional techniques and data collection
