Job Summary
We are looking for an enterprising and committed capture manager. With Tech2i, you can grow your career within BD/Capture, across our customers (Health, FedCiv, and Defense), or in roles directly on the front-line with our customers. The Capture Manager is responsible for leading and executing strategic capture efforts to increase the probability of new and existing business opportunities. This role works closely with business development, and marketing leads to transition identified opportunities into actionable capture plans, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and client needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement capture strategies to secure new business and expand existing contracts.
- Collaborate with the responsible business development or marketing leads supporting the transition from opportunity identification into capture efforts.
- Assemble and manage a capture team to successfully bid and win contracts, contacting and interfacing with existing and new clients and partners, communicating the organizations core capabilities., establishing internal and external teaming, and managing bid and proposal funding.
- Build and maintain relationships with clients, partners, and stakeholders.
- Effectively communicate the organization’s capabilities and value propositions.
- Establish and manage teaming arrangements with internal and external partners.
- Oversee bid and proposal funding, ensuring appropriate resource allocation.
- Lead strategic planning activities including gate reviews, black hat sessions, and win theme workshops.
- Support solution design and process development in collaboration with technical teams.
- Provide regular updates and strategic recommendations to executive leadership.
- Manage proposal development to ensure timely and high-quality submissions.
- Contribute to continuous improvement through feedback and innovative ideas.
Required Qualifications
Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree with 8+ years or master’s degree with 6+ years of experience in federal government professional services
- Familiarity with federal government acquisition types, processes, and tools
- Experience in capturing contract opportunities with emphasis on opportunity qualification, stakeholder engagement, solution development, and proposal submission.

· Comfortable in fast-paced environments surrounded by highly skilled individuals.

· Familiarity with Salesforce solutions, Salesforce implementation projects.
