Lead Caregiver
We are currently hiring a dependable and experienced Lead Caregiver to join our team. This is a guaranteed 30-hour-per-week position for someone who is compassionate, flexible, and committed to providing high-quality care and leadership support to both clients and caregivers.
This role is a key part of our company and involves both hands-on caregiving and support for our care team.
Responsibilities:
- Work scheduled shifts with clients
- Help cover shifts when caregivers call out
- Mentor and train new caregivers as needed
- Assist with onboarding and start-up care for new clients
- Help clients with bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
- Assist with meal preparation and medication reminders
- Provide companionship and emotional support
- Transport clients to doctor appointments and errands
- Perform light housekeeping duties
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of caregiving, patient care, or assisted living experience
- Reliable transportation and willingness to travel locally
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Compassionate and dependable attitude
- Ability to work flexible hours when needed
- Must be able to pass background checks
- Ability to work an overnight when needed, this instance would be rare
