Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our dynamic healthcare team. Duties
- Administer medications and injections accurately following physician orders and established protocols, and medication management.
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments by monitoring vital signs, performing physical examinations, and evaluating physiological responses to treatment.
- Document patient care activities thoroughly using EMR (Electronic Medical Records) systems like Epic or Cerner, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Coordinate patient care and follow-up
- Maintain cleanliness and infection control standards
Requirements
- Valid state licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) with current certification to practice in the relevant healthcare setting.
- BLS certification
- Demonstrated proficiency with EMR/EHR systems for accurate medical documentation.
- Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, ICD coding and CPT coding.
- Experience working with diverse patient populations with developmental disabilities or behavioral health needs.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with healthcare teams and educate patients about their care plans.
