Occupational Health Technician / Medical Assistant

Drug Testing Inc. (DTI) is a locally owned occupational health clinic serving employers, government agencies, and individuals throughout Western Colorado. We provide DOT and non-DOT drug testing, occupational health services, blood collections, fingerprinting, DNA testing, and are expanding.
We're looking for a dependable, compassionate, and professional team member who enjoys working with people in a fast-paced medical environment. This position offers a unique opportunity to gain experience in occupational health while working alongside a supportive team.
Because this position includes directly observed collections and same-sex specimen collections, we are currently seeking a MALE candidate for this role in accordance with applicable legal requirements for these duties.
What You'll Do
- Perform DOT and non-DOT specimen collections.
- Collect blood specimens (phlebotomy experience preferred).
- Conduct breath alcohol and other occupational health testing.
- Assist patients through the testing and collection process.
- Maintain accurate documentation and chain-of-custody records.
- Prepare, package, and ship laboratory specimens.
- Maintain examination rooms and medical supplies.
- Provide exceptional customer service to employers and patients.
- Assist with front office duties and scheduling as needed.

Preferred Qualifications
We welcome applicants with experience as:
- Medical Assistant (MA)
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)
- Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
- Emergency Medical Technician (EMT)
- Phlebotomist
- Patient Care Technician
- Military Medical Corpsman
- Other healthcare or laboratory experience
Experience with DOT collections, occupational health, or laboratory procedures is a plus, but we are willing to train the right candidate.
