Overview:
We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented MRP Analyst to support our manufacturing operations and ensure optimal alignment between demand, production capacity, and material availability.
The ideal candidate brings strong SAP/MRP experience, advanced analytical capabilities, and hands-on expertise managing Bills of Material (BOMs), production orders, and material flow in a complex manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute and manage MRP runs to align material supply with production demand
- Analyze and resolve MRP exceptions to prevent shortages and excess inventory
- Maintain BOM accuracy and process engineering changes (ECNs/BCNs)
- Create, release, track, and close production orders in SAP
- Monitor inventory accuracy and support cycle counts and reconciliations
- Provide visibility into material constraints and production risks
- Generate reports on material readiness, order status, and backlog health
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Procurement, Engineering, Warehouse, and Manufacturing to resolve material issues
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance MRP performance and data accuracy
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Business, or related field preferred
- 3–5 years of experience in MRP, Production Planning, or Materials Control in a manufacturing environment
- Strong SAP MRP experience (MD04, MD05, COHV, MF50, MM03, etc.)
- Advanced Excel and data analysis skills
- Strong understanding of BOM structures, routings, and manufacturing processes
