Overview:
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Licensed Social Worker (LSW) to join our team. This is an in-person position (with possibility for some remote work) offering a flexible work schedule. The primary responsibilities will include facilitating in-person group therapy sessions (IOP) and providing individual counseling for clients facing a variety of mental health challenges. The ideal candidate will be a dynamic clinician who is passionate about helping individuals and groups heal, grow, and thrive.

Duties & Responsibilities:
- Group Therapy Facilitation: Lead therapeutic group sessions, providing guidance and support to individuals working through mental health issues. Topics may vary based on client needs, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and more.
- Individual Counseling: Provide one-on-one counseling to clients, working to develop personalized treatment plans, set goals, and implement effective therapeutic interventions.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate and timely progress notes for all client sessions (both group and individual) in accordance with confidentiality standards and regulatory guidelines.
- Collaboration: Work alongside other clinical professionals to ensure a holistic approach to client care and integrate group therapy into clients' overall treatment plans.
- Client Support: Offer a compassionate, non-judgmental environment for clients to feel heard, supported, and empowered to make positive changes.
- Supervision and Professional Development: No supervision needed or will be provided for LSW
Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong therapeutic skills with the ability to lead both individual and group therapy sessions.
- Empathy, active listening, and a client-centered approach to care.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with clients and team members.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, particularly when documenting client progress and treatment plans.
- Ability to work independently while being a proactive member of a supportive clinical team.
- Knowledge of current therapeutic techniques, including CBT, DBT, trauma-informed care, and other evidence-based approaches.
Requirements:
- Valid LSW license in the state of New Jersey
- Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, or a related field from an accredited institution.
- Experience in group therapy facilitation is preferred, though we are open to training and support for the right candidate.
- Must pass a background check and adhere to all HIPAA and confidentiality guidelines.
