Job Summary
We are seeking an enthusiastic and personable Experienced Bartender to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality, excellent customer service skills, and experience in food and beverage service. As a key member of our team, you will craft drinks, serve guests, and ensure an exceptional experience in a lively environment. Experience with Squarespace POS systems are preferred, along with a solid understanding of food safety and hospitality standards. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced setting at a casual-fine dining restaurant with a bar focused on cocktails, dessert drinks, and more.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages accurately and efficiently using POS systems like Toast.
- Engage with guests to provide friendly, attentive service while taking orders and delivering drinks promptly
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in compliance with food safety standards
- Manage cash handling and cashiering duties accurately during shifts
- Assist in setting up for events such as banquets or catering functions
- Monitor inventory levels of beverages and supplies, submitting orders for restocking as needed
- Uphold responsible alcohol service policies and ensure guest safety at all times
- Collaborate with team members to deliver seamless service during busy hours, including nights and weekends
- Expand your creativity by creating signature drinks for advertisement as specials
Requirements
- Previous experience in food service, restaurant, nightclub, or hospitality environments is highly desirable, especially with fine dining or banquet experience
- Proficiency with POS systems such as Squarespace is preferred
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tables or bar stations efficiently
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests professionally
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
- Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math, and calculating bills accurately
- Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed in a fast-paced environment
- Experience in brewing or catering is a plus but not required
- Must be at least 21 years old with legal authorization to serve alcohol
