Production Associate / Stacker
Location: Boise, ID
Compensation: $18.00 - $19.80/hr (Plus shift differentials, overtime opportunities, and built-in days off)
Shift: Panama Schedule (12-hour shifts: 6:45 AM – 6:45 PM or 6:45 PM – 6:45 AM)
Job Summary
We are looking for reliable and detail-oriented Production Associates to join our manufacturing team in Boise. In this role, you will play a crucial part in maintaining product excellence, packaging finished goods, and supporting extrusion operations. This position offers a predictable yet flexible schedule with excellent earning potential and comprehensive on-the-job training.
Key Responsibilities
- Quality Control: Inspect finished boards to meet strict visual and dimensional standards. Accurately use a tape measure and follow quality assurance (QA) instructions.
- Team Communication: Promptly notify the machine operator of any identified quality defects or production anomalies.
- Packaging & Labeling: Read production work orders, label products accurately, and pack/wrap finished goods according to guidelines.
- Production Support: Assist extrusion operators and fellow stackers to safely meet the shift’s production schedules.
- Safety First: Adhere strictly to all safety guidelines and maintain a clean, organized workstation. Perform all duties as assigned by the shift supervisor.
Position Requirements
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift 55+ lbs consistently and comfortably walk, sit, stoop, kneel, bend, crouch, or crawl as required during a 12-hour shift.
- Schedule Flexibility: Ability to work a rotating 12-hour Panama schedule, which includes required weekends and built-in overtime.
- Work Environment: Comfortable working in a moderate-to-high noise manufacturing environment (hearing protection required) with occasional exposure to fluctuating factory temperatures and moving mechanical parts.
- Experience: Prior warehouse or manufacturing experience is a plus, but not required—comprehensive on-the-job training is provided!
- Pre-Employment Screening: Must be willing to pass a pre-employment drug screening and background check.
