Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Administrative Assistant with bookkeeping experience to support daily office operations. This role combines administrative responsibilities with basic financial tasks, making it ideal for someone who is organized, proactive, and comfortable working with numbers.
This role will start as part-time, with a planned transition to full-time hours by the fourth quarter of the year.
Responsibilities
- Provide general administrative support (email management, filing)
- Maintain and organize office records and documents
- Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable
- Record financial transactions and update ledgers
- Prepare invoices and follow up on payments
- Assist with payroll processing
- Communicate with vendors and clients as needed
Experience
- Previous experience in administrative support and bookkeeping
- Familiarity with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, or similar)
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Basic understanding of accounting principles
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Ability to handle sensitive financial information confidentially
- Strong communication and time-management skills
Pay: $14.00 - $16.00 per hour
