Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and professional Front Desk Patient Coordinator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our patients, providing exceptional customer service while managing a variety of administrative tasks. This role requires PREVIOUS DENTAL OFFICE ADMINISTRATIVE EXPERIENCE, excellent communication skills, strong organizational abilities, and the ability to multitask in a small private practice. Previous dental experience is a MUST.
Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome patients in a friendly and professional manner
- Manage incoming calls with proper phone etiquette
- Maintain and organize the front desk area to ensure a welcoming environment
- Schedule appointments and assist with maintaining a full schedule in the PMS
- Handle office management tasks such as scanning, data entry, and maintaining office supplies
- Post payments and process credit card transactions.-Verify insurance eligibility for scheduled patients
-Balance end of day transactions
- Operate phone systems and other office equipment efficiently.
- Assist with administrative tasks as needed to support the Office Manager and Dentists.
- Demonstrate excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively
Qualifications
- Proven experience in a receptionist or administrative role is required.
- Strong phone etiquette and communication skills, both verbal and written.
-Experience with Dentrix preferred and/or dental office experience required.
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining professionalism.-
