Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and skilled Plumber to join our dynamic construction and maintenance team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems across residential and commercial projects. Your expertise will ensure that water systems, drainage, and plumbing infrastructure operate efficiently and meet all safety and building standards. Duties
- Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems including water supply lines, drainage, and fixtures in residential and commercial settings
- Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, blueprints, and construction plans to execute precise installations
- Operate hand tools, power tools, plumbing inspection cameras, pipe threading equipment, and welding apparatus safely and effectively
- Perform drain cleaning using specialized equipment to clear blockages and ensure proper flow within plumbing systems
- Conduct routine maintenance of plumbing systems to prevent issues before they arise; troubleshoot mechanical problems using technical knowledge
- Adhere to local building codes, safety regulations, and industry standards during all phases of installation and repair work
- Collaborate with construction teams, carpenters, HVAC specialists, and other trades to coordinate project timelines and ensure seamless execution
- Operate company vehicles responsibly for transportation to job sites; maintain cleanliness and safety compliance of all equipment used
- Utilize schematics and technical drawings to interpret complex plumbing layouts; assist in remodeling projects requiring plumbing modifications
- Engage in heavy lifting, assembly tasks, construction site experience, and handyman activities as needed to support project completion
Qualifications
- Proven construction experience with a strong background in plumbing installation, repair, and maintenance
- Skilled in welding, pipe threading, drain cleaning, water system troubleshooting, and the use of hand tools and power tools
- Knowledge of residential and commercial plumbing systems along with construction site protocols
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, technical drawings, and interpret technical instructions accurately
- Familiarity with local building codes, safety regulations, HVAC systems integration, and plumbing inspection cameras
- Mechanical knowledge related to water systems, schematics analysis, pipe assembly & remodeling techniques
- Valid driver’s license with experience operating company vehicles; commercial driving skills preferred
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly with clients and team members
- Physical ability for heavy lifting; comfortable working at heights or in confined spaces; capable of performing basic math calculations for measurements & quantities
