Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Travel
Location: Albuquerque, NM 87109

Contract Type: 13-Week Assignment (with potential for extension)
Shift: 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM (12-hour day shifts)
Compensation Package:
Overtime Pay: 1.5x base
Holiday Pay: 1.5x base
Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join the team at Albuquerque NM. As an LPN, you will be responsible for providing direct nursing care to residents under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN) and/or physician. You will play a critical role in maintaining the highest level of care for residents in a long-term care setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers
- Monitor residents’ health and document observations in the medical record
- Provide wound care, catheter care, and tracheostomy care as needed
- Assist with ADLs (Activities of Daily Living) and coordinate with CNAs
- Communicate changes in patient condition to RN/physician promptly
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure quality outcomes
- Maintain infection control standards and participate in facility safety protocols
- Support patients and families with compassion and education
Candidate Requirements:
- Active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in the state of New Mexico or compact state
- Minimum of 1 year LPN experience in a skilled nursing or rehab facility preferred
- EMR proficiency preferred
- CPR/BLS Certification (AHA or equivalent) required
- Strong clinical judgment and communication skills
- Must be able to work the full 13-week contract without RTOs
