Job description: Sandair System is looking for a CDL A driver to join our team! We work Monday-Friday, and cover routes in CT and RI daily.
Class A CDL Truck Driver
Duties:
- Operate various types of trucks, including 53' dry van, straight truck and pup.
- Safely transport materials to and from designated locations.
- Load and unload cargo using forklifts or other appropriate equipment.
- Follow assigned routes and schedules to ensure timely deliveries.
- Inspect vehicles for mechanical issues and perform routine maintenance tasks.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while operating the truck.
Experience:
- Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with appropriate endorsements. 1 year of CDL A experience needed.
- Proven experience as a truck driver or in a similar role.
- Familiarity with GPS navigation systems.
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to meet deadlines.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
