Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of beverages including cocktails, spirits, wine, craft beers, and non-alcoholic options with precision and flair.
- Maintain a clean and organized bar area, adhering to food safety and sanitation standards at all times.
- Manage cash transactions accurately using POS systems
- Engage with guests to recommend drinks, answer questions about beverage ingredients, and create a welcoming atmosphere.
- Develop new beverage recipes and experiment with mixology techniques to keep our offerings fresh and exciting.
- Monitor inventory levels of alcohol, mixers, garnishes, and supplies; assist with stock ordering and rotation.
- Collaborate with the restaurant team to support food service operations during busy hours or special events like banquets or catering functions.
Skills
- Proven experience in bartending within fine dining or hospitality environments; cocktail experience is essential.
- Strong understanding of beverage recipe development, spirits, wine knowledge, and craft beer experience.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to connect with diverse guests from around the world.
- Effective time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during peak hours.
- Familiarity with food safety standards and proper food handling practices in a bar setting.
- Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math for inventory management, and accurate order processing.
