Do you enjoy working with seniors and making a positive impact in their lives? Resorts at Chester River Manor is seeking a compassionate, energetic, and creative Activities Aide to join our team. This position is responsible for assisting with engaging recreational, social, and therapeutic activities that enhance the quality of life for our residents.
Assist in planning and implementing daily activity programs for residents.
Lead and participate in group activities, games, crafts, music programs, exercise classes, and special events.
Encourage resident participation and engagement.
Escort residents to and from activities as needed.
Assist with community outings, holiday celebrations, and family events.
Document resident attendance and participation.
Help decorate for holidays and special occasions.
Maintain activity supplies and equipment.
Build positive relationships with residents, families, and team members.
Ensure resident safety during all activities.
High School Diploma or GED preferred.
Previous experience in long-term care, assisted living, healthcare, recreation, childcare, customer service, or activities preferred.
Passion for working with seniors.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset.
Ability to work weekends, holidays, and flexible hours as needed.
Ability to lift, push wheelchairs, bend, stand, and walk for extended periods.
