American Traveler seeks a Certified Surgical Technologist for a 13-week travel assignment in a hospital operating room, requiring at least 2 years of experience.

Hospital-based Operating Room/Surgical Tech unit

13-week assignment with day shift hours from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM

Uses Epic EMR
-
May be required to float up to 25 miles between facilities as needed

Minimum of 2 years of experience required

BLS certification required (AHA certification must be completed prior to start if submitted with a non-AHA certification)

License required if applicable

Driver's license required for consideration

Support surgical procedures by preparing and maintaining sterile instruments, supplies, and equipment

Assist surgical team with patient positioning, draping, and sterile field setup

Candidates located within 90 miles of any MaineHealth facility will be considered local, which may affect pay rate eligibility

Local travelers are not eligible for renewal or extension of this assignment

Candidates who have worked at any MaineHealth facility within the past 12 months should disclose this during consideration

RTO should be kept to a minimum, with 3-4 days considered reasonable for this 13-week contract at the manager's discretion
