Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Maintenance Manager to oversee the maintenance operations within our facility. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in industrial maintenance, with expertise in managing teams and projects. This role is critical in ensuring that all machinery and equipment operate efficiently, minimizing downtime, and maintaining a safe working environment.
Duties
- Lead and manage the maintenance team, providing supervision and guidance to ensure high performance.
- Develop and implement maintenance management strategies, including preventive and corrective maintenance programs.
- Oversee the operation and maintenance of electrical systems (high voltage and low voltage), and programmable logic controllers (PLCs).
- Conduct regular inspections of facilities to identify potential issues and ensure compliance with safety standards.
- Collaborate with project teams to plan and execute facility upgrades or repairs.
- Analyze schematics to troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues effectively.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, equipment performance, and compliance documentation.
- Participate in equipment installation, commissioning, and start-up.
- Evaluate equipment reliability and take appropriate actions to improve performance.
- Communicate successfully with other members of the maintenance team and individual department managers.
- Perform hands-on maintenance work when required.
- Complete all other duties as assigned.
Skills
- Strong leadership abilities with proven experience in supervising maintenance teams.
- Comprehensive knowledge of industrial maintenance practices, including mechanical knowledge, electrical experience, pneumatics, and hydraulics systems.
- Familiarity with programmable logic controllers (PLCs)
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to read schematics and troubleshoot complex systems.
- Effective project management skills to oversee multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Strong communication skills in English for clear interaction with team members.
- Experience working with high voltage systems as well as low voltage applications is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, quality systems and safety procedures, including lean and 5S
- High attention to detail with problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Flexible to work overtime or change shift as required, including being on call for emergencies.

- Ability to work in a manufacturing environment
- Ability to work requiring standing with frequent stooping, bending, and reaching
- Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds
