Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and energetic Digital Marketing Manager to spearhead our online marketing initiatives. Duties
- A minimum of five years as an executive, managing others and getting others to get products out.
- A minimum of two years of marketing, advertising, or public relations experience.
- Excellent written and verbal communication ability and professional appearance.
- Self-starter with excellent leadership skills and high personal production. Able to figure out what is needed and get it done personally while making the division’s resources more productive and efficient.
- Strong grammar and writing skills (knowledge of how to write press releases a plus, but we are willing to train). Writing samples are required.
- Proficient in Windows, Word, Excel, the Internet and e-mail.
- Basic knowledge of graphic design and graphic design software such as Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign is not required but would be a plus.
- Basic knowledge of website design and creation using HTML, PHP, JavaScript, CSS, and working with WordPress. Proficiency in these areas isn’t required, just have to show familiarity using any of the aforementioned skills or software. VPM will not usually be directly creating websites and promo, however, the VPM does need to be able to 1) qual websites and other promotional material and 2) do some work directly on them in situations where the Director of Promotion is absent or where the person contracted to do some work is absent or making too many errors.
- Knowledge of social media, e-mail marketing, pay-per-click search engine marketing such as Google AdWords.
- Able to spot errors and omissions in written materials and promotion of any kind. Good at spotting errors in the work of juniors.
Pay: $35.00 - $40.00 per hour
