Minimum Qualifications: A current Gifted and Talented endorsement is preferred.However, candidates without this endorsement will beconsidered, with the expectation that they will pursueand obtain the required licensure.Elementary and/or Middle School licensure andexperience is preferred. Primary Functions: Gifted intervention specialists employed by theColumbiana County ESC will be contracted to providegifted services to identified students in a schooldistrict. Services will be outlined by student WrittenEducation Plans (WEPs). The district administrationand the gifted supervisor shall decide service options,which may include regular classroom cluster grouping,pull-out programs, inclusion, acceleration, or advancedstudies.
