The Senate Sergeant at Arms is seeking an IT Request Processing Technician #283. Duties

Processes and tracks Technology Catalog Orders. Creates Purchase Orders and Purchase Requisitions and approves invoice. Changes and track Orders (Purchase Order Modification). Creates Contract Orders & Modifications (SharePoint, IQ, Scheduling, Web Design etc.) and forwards Purchase Orders with contract documentation to vendor. Manages and coordinates the Studios Senate Media Centers (Democratic & Republican Recording Studios). Manages and coordinates SAA Office Automation Orders. Other duties as assigned.

Initiate POs for Senate IT approved equipment.
Assist customers with purchases of non-standard IT equipment.

Required Work Experience

1-2 years.

Required Special Skills/ Knowledge

Effective communication.
Work experience with ServiceNow, Asset Management and Excel.

Desired Qualifications

Experience creating purchase orders; billing and invoicing knowledge.
Effective problem-solving skills with a high attention to detail.
Able to prioritize multiple tasks while effectively managing daily workflow.
Able to be a problem solver, handling sensitive situations and customer needs.
Able to be an effective team player while working in a remote climate.
