JOB SUMMARY:
The Mental Health Professional or Clinical Trainee provides comprehensive mental health services, diagnostic assessments, EIDBI evaluations, treatment plans, and treatment services to individuals, children, and families.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Mental Health Professional or Clinical Trainee is responsible for providing mental health services with an emphasis in diagnostic assessments, comprehensive evaluations, and therapeutic services to groups, individuals, families, and children.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
Complete and document all Diagnostic Assessments, Comprehensive Evaluations, Individual Treatment Plans, therapy progress notes, case reviews, and discharge summaries per agency policy and MN Department of Human Services requirements.
Initiate and maintain ongoing communication with client referral, family members, and any relevant professionals, including psychiatry, primary care physician, school, social services agencies, and probation, etc.
