Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of floors, surfaces, restrooms, offices, and common areas using appropriate cleaning equipment.
- Handle various chemical agents safely while performing sanitation tasks, adhering strictly to chemical handling safety procedures.
- Conduct manual handling tasks to move supplies, or equipment in accordance with safe lifting practices.
- Maintain cleanliness of floors through techniques to ensure a pristine appearance.
- Restock supplies such as paper towels, soap, and cleaning materials while monitoring inventory levels.
- Follow safety protocols consistently during all custodial activities to prevent accidents or injuries.
Qualifications
- Proven janitorial or custodial experience in commercial or industrial settings.
- Knowledge of cleaning techniques, sanitation standards, and custodial equipment operation.
- Experience handling chemical agents safely and understanding chemical handling safety procedures.
- Ability to perform manual handling tasks including heavy lifting while maintaining safe lifting practices.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills for maintaining cleanliness standards.
- Customer service skills to interact professionally with staff and visitors when necessary.
