About This Role
BrightStar Care of Montgomery County is hiring a Community Relations Manager to build relationships with hospitals, rehab facilities, senior living communities, physician offices, and other organizations across DC and Montgomery County that work with families looking into care for an aging loved one. You'll be out in the community regularly, getting to know people, sharing information about what we do, and being a resource when families need help figuring out their options.
This is a great fit for someone early in their career who's genuinely good with people. If you have experience in community business development, that's a great plus, but you don't need a sales background. What matters most is that you have some experience with the senior community, are willing to show up, build real relationships, and learn along the way.
You're the Right Fit If You Are:
- Someone who enjoys meeting new people and feels comfortable walking into a place and introducing yourself
- Good at building genuine relationships and staying in touch with people over time
- Comfortable spending your days out and about in DC and Montgomery County, with a company car provided
- Familiar with the DC area, or excited to get to know it
- Organized, and you keep track of who you've met and follow up when you say you will
What You'll Be Doing:
- Visit hospitals, rehab facilities, senior living communities, physician offices, and other community organizations across DC and Montgomery County to introduce yourself and what BrightStar offers
- Build relationships with discharge planners, case managers, social workers, and others who work with families
- Represent BrightStar at community events, health fairs, and other local activities
- Be someone people can turn to with questions about care options for a loved one
- When needed, meet with clients directly across DC and Montgomery County to handle intake, walk them through what to expect, help them get set up, and support them as they get started
- Work closely with our care team to make sure new clients have a smooth start
- Track your activity using our CRM and report on your progress to leadership

- Base salary $60,000–$80,000 depending on experience, plus performance bonus
