Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Glazier/Installer/Helper to join our dynamic construction team. Responsibilities
- Assist with the installation of windows, glass materials, doors, and fixtures according to construction plans and schematics
- Handle glass materials carefully, ensuring proper cutting, fitting, and placement while adhering to safety standards
- Use hand tools and power tools effectively for measuring, cutting, assembling, and installing various components
- Perform dimensional measurements and quality control checks to ensure precise fitting and finish work
- Support fabrication and manufacturing processes related to glass and fixture installation on-site or in the workshop
- Assist with heavy lifting tasks involving glass panels, metal studs, framing materials, and other construction components
- Follow blueprints and technical drawings accurately while interpreting schematics for installation procedures
Qualifications
- Prior construction site experience or handyman background preferred; familiarity with remodeling projects is a plus
- Knowledge of blueprint reading, schematics, and technical drawings required for accurate installation
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, caulking guns, measuring tapes, levels, and other essential equipment
- Experience in window installation, door hanging, fixture mounting, cabinet installation, or trim carpentry highly desirable
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and handle glass materials with care during transport and installation
- Basic understanding of construction estimating and reading construction plans beneficial
- Strong attention to detail for measurement accuracy and quality control during all phases of work
