About the Role
This is not a traditional sales position.
As a Product Specialist (BMW Genius), you'll play an important role in both the customer experience and the daily operations of our dealership. One minute you may be delivering a new BMW and teaching a customer how to use the latest technology. The next, you could be inspecting incoming inventory, organizing the lot, or preparing vehicles for delivery.
No two days are the same, and that's exactly what makes this position exciting.
We'll teach you everything you need to know about BMW. What we can't teach is energy, initiative, teamwork, and a genuine desire to help others.
What You'll DoCustomer Experience
- Deliver an exceptional ownership experience for every customer.
- Demonstrate BMW technology, safety features, and connected services.
- Assist customers with BMW ConnectedDrive and the My BMW App.
- Conduct personalized vehicle deliveries.
- Follow up with customers after delivery to answer questions.
- Help create an outstanding customer experience that earns exceptional reviews.
Dealership Operations
- Inspect and intake incoming new and pre-owned inventory.
- Create and install vehicle key tags and inventory materials.
- Fuel vehicles and ensure they are ready for customer deliveries and test drives.
- Maintain lot organization and vehicle presentation.
- Wash, vacuum, and clean vehicles as needed.
- Verify accessories, floor mats, owner's manuals, charging equipment, and delivery items are present.
- Coordinate with Sales, Service, Parts, and Detail departments to ensure vehicles are delivery-ready.
- Assist with dealership events, showroom displays, and special projects.
- Perform additional duties to support the success of the team.
