Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Finish Carpenter to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for executing high-quality finish carpentry work on residential and commercial projects, ensuring precise craftsmanship and adherence to project specifications. Responsibilities
- Read and interpret construction plans, blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately execute finish carpentry tasks.
- Install trim, molding, cabinetry, doors, windows, siding, fixtures, and other woodwork with precision.
- Use hand tools and power tools for woodworking safely and effectively to cut, shape, assemble, and install wood components.
- Perform framing work including metal stud framing and door hanging as needed for project completion.
- Handle fabrication tasks such as custom woodwork and working with wood construction materials.
- Conduct restoration work including stucco repair, water damage restoration, mold remediation, and siding replacement.
- Ensure all work complies with safety standards such as power tool safety protocols and proper heavy lifting techniques.
- Assist in the installation of flooring, tile laying, masonry, plumbing fixtures, electrical components, and roofing when required.
- Maintain a clean work environment by organizing tools and materials while adhering to construction site safety regulations.
- Collaborate closely with project managers and other tradespeople to meet project timelines and quality standards.
Experience
- Proven experience in residential carpentry or general construction with a focus on finish carpentry.
- Strong knowledge of construction estimating, blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and technical drawings.
- Skilled in the use of hand tools such as saws, chisels, hammers; power tools including drills, sanders, nail guns; woodworking machines; CNC machinery; and metal stud framing equipment.
- Familiarity with construction site safety practices including power tool safety and proper handling of heavy lifting equipment.
- Experience working on diverse projects such as remodeling, restoration industry jobs, fixture installation, cabinetry installation, door hanging, siding replacement, flooring installation, tile laying or electrical work is highly desirable.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings related to plumbing systems, electrical layouts or masonry structures is a plus.
- Knowledge of water damage restoration techniques or mold remediation processes is advantageous.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently or as part of a team in fast-paced environments while maintaining high standards of craftsmanship.

Pay: $29.57 - $35.61 per hour
