Madden Industrial Craftsmen is looking for EXCAVATOR OPERATORS/REBAR INSTALLERS/PLUMBERS for a local pool building company in the Austin area.
POOL BUILDER RESPONSIBILITIES
- Install the steel reinforcement cage that provides the structural strength for concrete swimming pools and spas
- Cut, bend, and tie steel rods to form the shape of the pool
- Read blueprints to ensure pool layout
- Conduct routine inspections of machinery to ensure proper functioning and report any maintenance needs.
- Dig and prepare the ground for new swimming pools
- Operate heavy machinery like excavators and skid steers to meet precise depth, shape, and grade specifications
- Install, repair, and maintain hydraulic systems for swimming pools, spas, and water features
- Work with PVC piping, pumps, filters, heaters, and chlorinators to ensure proper water flow, sanitation, and compliance with safety codes
- Detecting/fixing leaks, installing new equipment
PLUMBER REQUIREMENTS
- 2+ years experience as a pool builder - excavation/rebar/plumbing
- Prior experience with pools is a plus
Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour
