Position Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Corporate Finance Contractor to serve as a central point of contact for the finance and accounting teams. In this role, you will lead crucial financial processes including forecasts, annual planning, long-range strategy, and consolidation reporting. Your insights will directly influence business decision-making and operational efficiency, offering an exciting opportunity to work remotely with flexible hours.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the company's financial consolidations, ensuring accuracy and timely reporting.
- Enhance budget versus actuals analysis and improve forecasting accuracy through data-driven modeling and cross-functional collaboration, especially in high-impact areas.
- Support the monthly close and financial forecast processes by analyzing results, identifying key trends, and communicating risks and opportunities to leadership.
- Assist in preparing monthly and quarterly management reports, including variance analyses, dashboards, and Board materials.
- Drive operational improvements by identifying system and process enhancements, developing automation solutions to streamline recurring tasks, and reducing errors.
- Manage evolving priorities by providing ad hoc analyses and supporting strategic initiatives.
Required Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in Corporate FP&A, Corporate Finance, or Strategic Finance within the technology industry.
- Proficiency in financial modeling, consolidations, P&L management, forecasting, and long-range planning.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data and communicate insights effectively.
- Positive attitude, high aptitude for learning new tools (including AI technologies), and a team-oriented mindset.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a "get it done" work ethic.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment and manage multiple priorities efficiently.
- No specific experience required; open to candidates with varied backgrounds and minimal experience.
Preferred Skills & Experience:
- Familiarity with automation tools and systems to improve operational workflows.
- Curiosity about emerging technologies and a willingness to incorporate AI tools to enhance productivity.
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and ability to adapt to new challenges quickly.
