Job Description
Brown Family Orthodontics is seeking a motivated, dependable, and patient-focused part time orthodontic assistant to join our growing team. We are seeking someone who is energetic, personable, and passionate about creating exceptional patient experiences.
Position Details:

Part-Time: 24-32 hours per week

Travel required: Position rotates between 4 office locations (Mandeville, Metairie, Marrero, and Chalmette)

Must have reliable transportation and flexibility with travel
Responsibilities:

Assist orthodontist during patient appointments and procedures

Prepare operatories and sterilize instruments

Take orthodontic records, digital scans, and x-rays as needed

Educate patients on oral hygiene and appliance care

Maintain accurate patient records and charting

Ensure a positive and welcoming patient experience
Qualifications

Orthodontic or dental assisting experience preferred

X-ray certification preferred

Strong communication and organizational skills

Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment

Bilingual (Spanish) is a plus
