Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival, check them in efficiently using property management systems (PMS) such as OPERA, and handle reservations with professionalism.
- Provide accurate information about hotel amenities, local attractions, and services to enhance guest satisfaction.
- Manage phone communications with clarity and courtesy, addressing inquiries promptly and professionally while maintaining excellent phone etiquette.
- Coordinate housekeeping tasks by inspecting rooms, ensuring cleanliness standards are met, and communicating guest preferences or special requests to housekeeping staff.
- Assist with night audit procedures, balancing accounts and preparing reports to ensure financial accuracy at the end of each shift.
- Respond swiftly to guest concerns or emergencies following hotel emergency procedures, demonstrating problem-solving skills and maintaining guest relations.
- Maintain a clean and organized front desk area and assist with other hotel operations as needed to support seamless service delivery.
Requirements
- Previous experience in hotel management or hospitality roles is highly preferred, especially in front desk operations or housekeeping.
- Proficiency with property management systems (PMS), particularly OPERA or similar software, is desirable.
- Multilingual or bilingual abilities are a strong advantage for communicating effectively with diverse guests.
- Exceptional customer service skills with a friendly attitude and strong communication abilities, including phone etiquette.
- Knowledge of hotel emergency procedures and safety protocols to ensure guest safety at all times.
- Experience with hotel reservation systems and guest relations tools to streamline check-in/check-out processes.
- Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays in a resort or hotel environment.
