We're seeking an experienced retail leader to oversee the daily operations of a high-volume retail location in Southern Maine. This is an opportunity for someone who enjoys developing teams, creating exceptional customer experiences, and leading with consistency in a fast-paced, highly regulated industry.

Responsibilities
Team Leadership
- Lead, motivate, and develop a team of supervisors and retail associates.
- Foster a culture built on accountability, collaboration, and respect.
- Recruit, interview, onboard, and train new employees.
- Conduct performance evaluations, coaching conversations, and ongoing employee development.
- Create schedules that balance business needs with appropriate staffing levels.
Store Operations
- Oversee all aspects of daily store operations.
- Ensure accurate cash handling, inventory management, and operational reporting.
- Maintain an organized, safe, and professional retail environment.
- Partner with company leadership to implement operational initiatives and continuous improvements.
Compliance
- Ensure all operations comply with Maine adult-use cannabis regulations and company policies.
- Maintain accurate records and support inventory audits and compliance inspections.
- Promote a culture where compliance and operational excellence are non-negotiable.
Customer Experience
- Lead by example in delivering exceptional customer service.
- Support product education and employee knowledge development.
- Monitor business performance and identify opportunities to improve sales and customer satisfaction.
- Execute merchandising and promotional initiatives to company standards.
Qualifications
- Minimum of three years of leadership experience in a retail environment.
- Experience managing employee performance, coaching, and scheduling.
- Demonstrated ability to build and retain high-performing teams.
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience working within a regulated industry is preferred but not required.
- Ability to adapt to changing business priorities while maintaining operational excellence.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain all required Maine cannabis employment credentials.
Pay: From $60,000.00 per year
