Job Summary
Malibu Pools is seeking a reliable and skilled Pool Service Technician to join our team. The Pool Service Technician is responsible for maintaining residential and commercial swimming pools, ensuring proper water chemistry, and providing high-quality service to keep pools clean, safe, and operating efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Perform weekly pool maintenance, including brushing, netting, vacuuming, emptying baskets, and cleaning filters as needed
- Test and balance pool water chemistry by adding the appropriate chemicals
- Inspect pool equipment and identify operational issues
- Troubleshoot and perform minor repairs to pool equipment and systems
- Complete detailed service reports after each service visit
- Maintain a professional appearance and provide excellent customer service
- Follow all company safety procedures and industry best practices
- Drive to service locations throughout Miami-Dade County, Broward County, and Monroe County as needed
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Pool Technician, Service Technician, or in a related field preferred
- Knowledge of pool water chemistry and safe handling of pool chemicals
- Mechanical aptitude and ability to diagnose and repair pool equipment
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
