Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and skilled Auto Repair Specialist to join our automotive service team. Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive diagnostics using advanced automotive diagnostic tools to identify issues with engine systems, electrical wiring, and vehicle electronics.
- Repair and maintain various vehicle components including engines, transmissions, powertrains, suspension, brakes, and electrical systems.
- Interpret automotive wiring diagrams and schematics to accurately troubleshoot electrical problems.
- Conduct engine repairs on both gasoline and diesel engines, including diesel engine overhaul and maintenance.
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and heavy lifting techniques to execute repairs efficiently and safely.
- Perform wheel alignments, vehicle maintenance, and auto body repairs as needed to restore vehicles to optimal condition.
- Follow manufacturer specifications and safety protocols while working on vehicles, ensuring quality workmanship in every task.
Skills
- Proven dealership experience or extensive mechanic experience in automotive repair shops.
- Strong knowledge of automotive engine technology, ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems), and automotive electrical systems.
- Ability to interpret automotive schematics and wiring diagrams accurately.
- Skilled in using automotive diagnostic tools for troubleshooting complex vehicle issues.
- Expertise in diesel engine repair, powertrain systems, and engine overhaul procedures.
- Mechanical knowledge of vehicle systems including suspension, brakes, steering, and transmission components.
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and maintenance machinery.
- Excellent manual handling skills with the ability to lift heavy parts safely during repairs.
- Customer service skills to communicate effectively with clients about repair needs and maintenance recommendations.
