Pay: $105k - $115k based on experience
TMS is currently looking for a Shredder Manager at our West Mifflin, PA location.
Operations Manager Responsibilities
- Manage a Mega Shredder and downstream separation system in a fast pace environment
- Will work closely with other departments to ensure operational goals are obtained
- Attends meetings with the site management team
- Oversee approximately 12 unionized employees at the site
- Documents and address safety and maintenance concerns that may arise on site
- Manages parts inventory, capital planning, and projects
- Assists maintenance management team with planning
Operations Manager Qualifications
- Preference will be given for 5-7 years of experience within an industrial setting
- Preference will be given to BA/BS degree as well as a combination of experience/education.
- Must have strong communication and organizational skills
- The candidate must also have the ability to function both effectively and independently as a member of a cross-functional team demonstrating teamwork and communication skills with a commitment to cooperation and collaboration among business functions.
- Should be proficient with Microsoft Office software including PowerPoint, Excel and Word as well as ERP software.
- Candidate should have strong oral and written skills as well as good statistical analysis skills.
