Pay: $18.00–$22.00 per hour
Full-Time Dermatology Medical Assistant
We are seeking an experienced Dermatology Medical Assistant to join our fast-paced medical and cosmetic dermatology practice. Previous dermatology experience is required. Applicants without dermatology experience will not be considered.
The ideal candidate is polished, professional, customer service-oriented, and experienced in both medical and cosmetic dermatology. This role requires someone who thrives in a high-volume, patient-focused environment and can seamlessly adapt between medical and cosmetic workflows.

Responsibilities
- Room patients efficiently and obtain medical histories, medications, and chief complaints
- Assist providers with dermatologic and cosmetic procedures, including:
- Skin biopsies
- Cryotherapy
- Excisions
- Suture removal
- Wound care
- Cosmetic injectables
- Laser and aesthetic treatments
- Educate patients on skincare regimens, acne treatment plans, cosmetic procedures, and skincare products
- Maintain efficient patient flow and assist with room turnover in a fast-paced clinic environment
- Perform sterilization and autoclave procedures
- Process specimens and maintain accurate EMR/EHR documentation
- Take before-and-after photos for cosmetic procedures
- Verify insurance information and schedule appointments
- Maintain inventory and stock clinical supplies
- Support multiple providers and assist with daily clinic operations
Required Qualifications
- Dermatology Medical Assistant experience required
- Experience assisting with dermatologic procedures and cosmetic treatments
- Strong knowledge of common skin conditions and skincare products
- EMR/EHR experience required
- Strong computer skills; typing speed of 50+ WPM preferred
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Professional appearance and positive attitude
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA)
- Experience in cosmetic dermatology, aesthetics, plastic surgery, or med spa settings
- Experience assisting with injectables and laser treatments
