We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Electrician to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical systems across various commercial and industrial settings. Your expertise will ensure that all electrical work complies with safety standards and local electrical codes, contributing to the safe and efficient operation of our facilities. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects, from renovation to new construction, utilizing your technical skills and problem-solving abilities to keep electrical systems running smoothly.
Responsibilities
- Install, inspect, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems in commercial and industrial environments using hand tools and power tools.
- Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical diagrams to accurately execute wiring and system setups.
- Conduct electrical diagnostics to identify issues within complex industrial electrical systems and implement effective solutions.
- Perform high-voltage electrical wiring tasks safely in accordance with NFPA 70 (National Fire Protection Association standard for National Electrical Code) compliance.
- Maintain detailed documentation of all electrical work performed, including inspections, repairs, and system upgrades.
- Follow electrical safety procedures rigorously to prevent accidents and ensure compliance with OSHA standards.
- Collaborate with construction teams during renovation or new build projects, including reading blueprints and schematics for proper installation.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as an electrician with a focus on industrial or commercial electrical systems.
- Strong knowledge of NFPA 70 (NEC) standards, local electrical codes, and safety procedures.
- Skilled in reading electrical blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams accurately.
- Hands-on experience with troubleshooting electrical systems using diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters and multimeters.
- Ability to work safely with high-voltage wiring and low-voltage systems across various environments including construction sites and renovation projects.
- Familiarity with programmable logic controllers (PLCs), schematics reading, and industrial electrical systems is highly desirable.
- Experience working on construction sites or in renovation projects is preferred.
- Knowledge of hand tools, power tools, high-voltage wiring techniques, and framing carpentry is advantageous.
