Job Description:
We are a growing towing and parking enforcement company seeking a diligent and professional Car Hauler to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely transporting various types of vehicles. This role requires a strong understanding of route driving and adherence to safety regulations. Minimum of 5 years of experience and a clean driving record with an active CDL is required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Load and unload different types of vehicles
- Plan and follow efficient routes for timely deliveries.
- Conduct pre-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is in safe operating condition.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while on the road.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers regarding delivery schedules and any issues that arise during transport.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Skills and Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record for the last 5 years with an active CDL.
- Must be at least 25+ years of age (for insurance purposes).
- 5 years’ experience with Flatbed
- Strong knowledge of route driving techniques and navigation systems.
- Ability to operate Rollback and Wheel lift/ self loader
- Excellent time management skills to meet delivery deadlines.
- Strong attention to detail for safety inspections and transport
- Good communication skills for interaction with dispatchers and clients.
Physical Requirements:
- Lifting up to 50lbs, crawling, pulling, bending, reaching, climbing, and stamina required
- Ability to work and drive in a variety of weather conditions
