Job Title: Distribution Operator
GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

Timely delivery of material and products to increase efficiency, profitability, and customer satisfaction.
SPECIFIC DUTIES:
-
Loading and unloading of goods and supplies, always ensuring proper handling.

Ensure the neatness and proper stocking of inventory in assigned locations.

Proper picking, packing, and preparing of accessory orders for shipment.
-
Prepare appropriate documentation for outbound shipments.
-
Operate all types of forklifts in compliance with all company safety regulations.

Operate the Shipping Management system and load small parcel carrier trucks.
-
Perform cycle counting of inventory.
-
Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
PRE-DETERMINED QUALIFICATIONS:
-
High school diploma, GED, or equivalent preferred but not required.
-
A minimum of 1 year experience in a warehouse environment is preferred.

Excellent attendance is required

Previous experience with pallet jackets, tape dispensers, utility knives is a plus

Ability to work independently or in a team environment with co-workers

Strong attention to detail
- Possess basic math skills with ability to add, subtract, divide, and multiply

Light computer/data entry experience
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Requires frequent standing, walking, stooping, bending, kneeling, and reaching with hands and arms.

Occasionally required to sit, climb, or balance.

Visual and hearing acuity.

Requires ability to frequently lift 35 lbs or less unassisted; occasionally lift 36 – 70 lbs with assistance, if needed; lifting greater than 70 lbs requires assistance.

Warehouse environment with exposure to dust.
