Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Pharmacist to support safe, efficient, and compliant pharmacy operations. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in medication management, quality assurance, clinical support, and patient safety, with a focus on regulatory compliance and high-quality pharmaceutical care.
Duties
- Review and verify medication orders for accuracy, safety, and appropriateness.
- Dispense medications accurately according to physician orders and pharmacy protocols.
- Monitor patients for drug interactions, allergies, contraindications, and therapeutic effectiveness.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals regarding medication therapy.
- Provide medication counseling and education to patients and healthcare staff.
- Maintain accurate medication records and required pharmacy documentation.
- Ensure compliance with pharmacy policies, state and federal regulations, and facility standards.
- Monitor medication storage, inventory, expiration dates, and controlled substances.
- Participate in quality assurance, medication safety, and process improvement activities.
Requirements
- 3+ years of Pharmacist experience preferred/required.
- Active Pharmacist license in the applicable state.
Pay: $70.00 - $75.00 per hour
