We are seeking a vigilant and dedicated Armed Security Officer to safeguard our clients premises, personnel, and assets. This role involves maintaining a secure environment through proactive surveillance, conflict management, and emergency response. The ideal candidate will possess strong law enforcement or military experience, demonstrate excellent conflict resolution skills, and be capable of handling high-pressure situations with professionalism and confidence. As an Armed Security Officer, you will be a vital part of our security team, ensuring safety while upholding the highest standards of integrity and service.
Responsibilities
- Monitor security cameras (CCTV) and conduct regular surveillance to detect suspicious activity or security breaches.
- Perform armed patrols of the premises, including entrances, exits, and sensitive areas to deter theft, vandalism, or unauthorized access.
- Respond promptly to alarms or incidents, assessing situations with sound judgment and taking appropriate action.
- Manage conflict situations with professionalism, employing conflict management techniques to de-escalate tensions.
- Conduct thorough inspections of personnel, visitors, and vehicles to ensure compliance with security protocols.
- Collaborate with law enforcement or emergency services during incidents or emergencies as needed.
- Maintain detailed incident reports, shift logs, and security records accurately and promptly.
Experience
- Proven experience in security operations, law enforcement, military service, or related fields.
- Knowledge of surveillance systems such as CCTV and loss prevention techniques.
- Certification in first aid and CPR is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with conflict management strategies and emergency response procedures.
- Ability to handle stressful situations calmly and effectively while maintaining a professional demeanor.

Pay: From $18.50 per hour
