Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Project Manager to lead and oversee complex construction projects from inception to completion. Responsibilities
- Lead the planning, execution, and closing of construction projects, ensuring adherence to scope, schedule, and budget parameters.
- Develop comprehensive project schedules using Primavera P6 or similar project management software, coordinating construction schedule activities effectively.
- Manage project teams by assigning tasks, monitoring progress, and fostering a collaborative work environment to meet project milestones.
- Oversee construction plans, blueprints, and technical drawings to ensure accurate implementation and compliance with specifications.
- Coordinate with clients, contractors, subcontractors, and regulatory agencies to facilitate smooth project workflows and regulatory compliance.
- Monitor project costs through detailed cost management practices utilizing HeavyBid or comparable estimating tools; track expenses against budgets regularly.
- Ensure all construction activities adhere to safety standards, building codes, environmental regulations, and contractual obligations.
- Review contracts and change orders diligently; manage project documentation for accuracy and transparency.
- Conduct site visits regularly to assess progress, resolve issues promptly, and maintain quality standards across all phases of construction.
- Utilize construction management software for scheduling updates, resource allocation, progress tracking, and reporting purposes.
Skills
- Extensive experience with construction site management across commercial or infrastructure projects.
- Proficiency in project management software such as Primavera P6, Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Bluebeam Revu for document review and markup.
- Strong knowledge of construction estimating techniques combined with cost management expertise.
- Skilled in reading and interpreting construction plans, blueprints, contracts, and specifications.
- Familiarity with civil 3D for site design coordination is a plus.
- Ability to manage multiple teams effectively while maintaining strict time management discipline.
- Deep understanding of construction regulations, safety protocols, environmental standards, and regulatory compliance requirements.
- Proven leadership in managing complex infrastructure or commercial construction projects from start to finish.
- Excellent communication skills for coordinating with stakeholders at all levels; adept at managing project schedules and resolving conflicts efficiently.
