General Labor / Handyman

Kaizen Construction is a full-service commercial general contractor delivering ground-up construction, major renovations, tenant improvements, and complex commercial build-outs. Our team is built around strong project management, skilled field execution, quality craftsmanship, and the ability to successfully deliver projects from preconstruction through final completion.
What You'll Do
- General labor on active commercial build-out sites: demo, framing assistance, drywall, patching, and finish work
- Punch list and handyman repairs — doors, hardware, trim, fixtures, minor plumbing and electrical support
- Material handling, staging, and jobsite loading/unloading
- Daily site cleanup and debris removal; keep work areas safe and organized
- Assist licensed trades (electrical, plumbing, HVAC) as needed
- Operate hand and power tools safely and correctly
- Follow site safety requirements and report hazards immediately
What We're Looking For
- 1+ years of construction, handyman, or skilled trades experience (commercial a plus)
- Comfortable with common hand and power tools
- Able to lift 50+ lbs, work on ladders and lifts, and stay on your feet all day
- Reliable transportation and consistent attendance — we start on time
- Solid communication and a team-first attitude
- Must be at least 18 and legally authorized to work in the U.S.
Nice to Have
- OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification
- Experience with drywall finishing, door/hardware installation, or ACT ceilings
- Basic plumbing or electrical familiarity
- Own basic hand tools
- Valid driver's license with clean record
