We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental team. Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during examinations and procedures by providing necessary instruments and materials.
- Maintain accurate medical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Perform medical imaging as required, ensuring high-quality results.
- Demonstrate knowledge of anatomy to effectively assist during various dental procedures.
- Implement aseptic techniques to maintain a sterile environment and ensure infection control protocols are followed.
- Utilize Dentrix software for patient management, scheduling, and record keeping.
- Provide patient education on oral hygiene and post-treatment care.
- Prepare treatment rooms by cleaning and sterilizing instruments and equipment.
- Support the dental clinic operations by managing inventory and ordering supplies as needed.
Experience
- Previous experience as a Dental Assistant is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided for the right candidate.
- Familiarity with medical documentation practices and HIPAA compliance is essential.
- Knowledge of medical imaging techniques is advantageous.
- Understanding of anatomy relevant to dental procedures is beneficial.
- Proficiency in aseptic technique and infection control measures is required.
- Experience with Dentrix or similar dental practice management software is a plus.
