Location: Austin, TX (Hybrid, 2-3 Days/Week Onsite)
Compensation: Competitive Base Salary + Equity
We're partnering with a venture-backed AI startup seeking a Staff Product Manager to own the platform layer that powers its entire product suite. This is a highly technical role focused on AI agents, APIs, integrations, data architecture, and intelligent automation at scale.
You'll work directly with technical leadership and senior engineers to shape platform strategy, AI capabilities, developer experiences, and the systems that enable AI-powered workflows.
Responsibilities

Own platform strategy across APIs, integrations, data models, permissions, reporting, and core system capabilities.

Drive the evolution of AI-powered workflows, agent frameworks, evaluation systems, observability, and governance.

Partner with engineering leadership on platform architecture, scalability, developer experience, and interoperability.

Establish standards for data quality, reliability, instrumentation, and performance.

Translate complex technical concepts into business value for customers and stakeholders.

Influence platform and architectural decisions alongside senior engineering leadership.
Requirements

6+ years of Product Management experience within B2B SaaS.

Experience owning platform, infrastructure, developer platform, data platform, or AI-focused products.

Experience launching AI/ML-powered products or features in production.

Strong understanding of APIs, integrations, data modeling, and system architecture.

Ability to operate independently in highly technical environments.

Exceptional communication and presentation skills.

Passion for leveraging AI tools and technologies in day-to-day work.
Preferred

Experience with AI agents, LLM-powered applications, AI orchestration frameworks, or developer platforms.

High-growth startup or scale-up experience.

Enterprise SaaS, fintech, workflow automation, or vertical SaaS experience.
