What You’ll Be Doing
Be the go-to hero for bumps, bruises, and “I don’t feel so good” visits
Administer medications and provide skilled nursing care
Support students with chronic conditions like asthma, diabetes, and allergies
Keep health records organized and compliant (yes, paperwork—but we promise it matters!)
Partner with teachers, parents, and staff to support student wellness
Respond calmly and confidently to the occasional emergency
Help promote healthy habits across the school community
✅ What You Bring
Registered Nurses (RN):
Active Illinois RN license
CPR/BLS certification (you’ve got the lifesaving moves)
At least 1 year of nursing experience (peds or school = bonus points!)
Strong clinical judgment and a friendly, approachable vibe
Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN):
Active Illinois LPN license
CPR/BLS certification
At least 1 year of clinical experience
Team player mindset and ability to work under RN supervision
Bonus Points If You Have:
School or pediatric experience
Familiarity with IEPs or 504 Plans
A knack for calming nervous kids (and sometimes adults too)
