Junior's is looking for a part-time Shift Lead to join our team.
This position is a great fit for someone who enjoys working with people and wants to help create a positive experience for both our customers and coworkers.

Experience is helpful, but it isn't everything. We can teach someone how to make a great sandwich, operate a meat slicer, or close the restaurant. It's much harder to teach reliability, initiative, humility, and a genuine desire to serve others. We'd rather invest in someone with those qualities than someone with years of experience who doesn't fit our culture.
As a Shift Lead, you'll work right alongside the team every day. You'll make sandwiches, prepare food, serve customers, solve problems, help keep everyone on task, and make sure the restaurant is clean, stocked, and ready for the next shift. You'll also help train newer employees and set the standard through your attitude and work ethic.
Position Details
- Part-time (typically 13–20 hours per week)
- Typical shifts are weekdays from 11:00 AM–7:30 PM or 1:00 PM–7:30 PM
- Some Saturdays may be required (typically no more than once per month)
- Hiring by July 12, 2026
- Must be at least 18 years old (21+ preferred)
Pay & Benefits
- Training wage: $12.00/hour for a two-week training period
- Starting Shift Lead wage: $13.00/hour plus tips (First raise within 90 days based on merit)
- Tips typically average an additional $2–3 per hour worked

Responsibilities
- Lead afternoon and closing shifts
- Make sandwiches and provide excellent customer service
- Prepare food for service
- Safely operate the meat slicer
- Close the restaurant
- Keep the restaurant clean, stocked, and organized
- Handle customer concerns professionally
- Help train and encourage other team members
- Keep the team productive throughout the shift
- Maintain Junior's standards for quality, cleanliness, and hospitality

Previous leadership or restaurant experience is a plus, but it isn't required.
